Project Overview.
Established in 1978, Raj Group of Companies has grown into one of India’s leading names in marine bunkering, offshore support, barges, towing, and lighterage services. Their old website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and did not reflect the scale or professionalism of their operations. They approached us with the need for a modern, minimalistic, and fast website that could clearly present their services, legacy, and leadership in the shipping industry.
Process & Challange
1. Discovery & Understanding Needs
Client emphasized simplicity and speed over heavy design.
The focus was on credibility, heritage (since 1978), and scale of operations.
Needed to structure a vast range of services—bunkering, water barges, heavy lift, lighterage, towing, offshore vessels—without overwhelming visitors.
2. Design Approach
Created a minimal design system: clean typography, corporate colors, and plenty of whitespace for readability.
Structured content in a straightforward navigation: About, Services, Fleet, Operations, Contact.
Highlighted their heritage timeline (“since 1978”) and their scale (“largest marine bunkering agency representing all oil companies in India”).
3. Development & Functionality
Built a lightweight and fast-loading website, optimized for speed and mobile devices.
Added sections for each service category with supporting visuals (barges, tugs, offshore vessels).
Integrated a simple enquiry/contact form for easy client communication.
Ensured the site is SEO-friendly to improve discoverability for marine-related searches.
